For example if I create a link for clicking on the link will not open up a browser. On the other hand if I change the link to it works fine. Is this a bug or is there a simple way around it? Thanks. Hyena uses the operating system to essentially figure out what to do with a given url. But this can produce different results depending upon some things. Please post back what version of NT/2000 you are using and what version of IE (or what browser) you are using. Also, click on Start, Run, and type a url that is giving you problems and press Enter. Windows should display the browser and go directly there. When this action does not work, do you not get a browser at all ? Kevin StanushSystemTools Software Inc. Typing in a url and clicking on it works in every other app, and it worked with Hyena 3. No other app has been installed or uninstalled since I upgraded Hyena. Typing a url at the run statement also works just fine. In Hyena 4 however clicking on a url does nothing if an html file is not specified. The problem appears to be that on your computer, their isn't a default action for urls. I don't know where this is specified. One thing to try as a test is to create a shortcut on your desktop with a command of Then, using Explorer, find the shortcut on the desktop, right click on it and see if "open" is the first choice on the context menu and if its in bold.Let me know what you find. AD Groups Management The built-in Microsoft group management functions really have not changed since the introduction of Windows NT, yet new group capabilities have been created with each new version of Windows. Hyena excels in managing AD groups. By allowing group administration through OUs, All Groups, or the Group Type, you get to decide how to manage groups, not the tool. In addition to the Group Member Matrix, Hyena also allows viewing group members for one or more groups at the same time, even optionally recursing through indirect group memberships. Big cat is too skilled and deadly for the hyena to beat in a fight. Hyenas are used to fighting with backup in the form of their pack mates. However, they would come into this fight alone, putting them at an instant disadvantage.Meanwhile, leopards live, hunt, and fight alone. Moreover, they take down big prey all by themselves. If the leopard was allowed to ambush the hyena, the fight would be over in seconds with the leopard’s mouth around its enemy’s neck. Who would win in a fight between a jackal and a hyena? A hyena would win a fight against a jackal because it is larger, stronger, and has better tools with which to kill its foes. Thank you for reading! Have some feedback for us? Since Microsoft has rolled out Powershell in all its wisdom to manage the AD, Will Hyena have the capability of creating powershell scripts or does it support the same functions as powershell? I like the GUI inteface of Hyena especially when I need a quick report but need to know the difference between pulling data from Hyena is as quick as pulling data through Powershell commands to a file. We are endeavoring to create daily reports for administrators to review daily and see what modifications were done to the AD. I am sure there are ways to pull the data but am new to the reporting features in Hyena to automate this process and schedule it as a daily task. Hyena only uses Powershell for Exchange 2010 integration. All other functions in Hyena use various Windows functions to set/retrieve data. For scheduling reports you would need to use Exporter Pro (which comes with Hyena) because it has a command line option that allows it to run silently. You simply configure the exports you want it to run, then setup a Task to run:stexport.exe /CONFIG=path_to_your_ini_file Comment
